Just In: The Corpus Christi Rimz Wheelchair Basketball Team has announced the starting dates of the annual Bayfront Classic Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. According to details, the event will commence on Dec 3 and run through the night of Dec 4.
It is pertinent to mention that Bayfront Classic is one the biggest basketball tournament supported and supervised by a Team without entry fees. In the current edition, a total of 7-teams across the US will participate and fight for the title of Champions.
The tournament comprises teams from around the state, including Mississippi, Arizona, California, Houston, Austin, and Corpus Christi, while each side will play six matches against fellow teams before making it through to the next rounds.
The event will take place at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s Dugan Wellness Center Island Hall Gym, located at 6300 Ocean Drive. The Doors will open to spectators at 8 a.m., and the first game will take off at 9 a.m.
According to the schedule, the opening match will feature Houston Rolling Rockets vs. Austins Rec’ers. Meanwhile, all 21 matches will be played on two courts, with 14 on December 3 and the remaining games on the Final Day.
