Brazil’s Nymar likely to miss next two games, amid Ankle Injury

Just In: Well-coveted Brazil slumped with shock after two of its senior players, Neymar and Danilo, sustained injuries during the opening match against Serbia; nevertheless, they seized that clash by a 2-0 score and jumps to the top position on the group rankings.

The 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain attacker left the pitch in the 80th minute of the match against Serbia after suffering an ankle injury. Later, Neymar was seen with an ice pack wrapped around the damaged area, and the camera captured his right ankle looking swollen around the margins.

After being dropped out from the upcoming two matches against Switzerland and Cameroon, Neymar updated the fans on his Injury and described it as a Nightmare and the hardest setback of his entire football career.

According to Selecao’s team physician Rodrigo Lasmar, two Brazilian Footballers Neymar and Danilo, reportedly had ankle ligament damage. As a result, they have been rested for the upcoming Group G matches, or at least the next two.

“Neymar and Danilo underwent an MRI, and the reports found ligament damage in their ankles. We must maintain our calm, as Medics will perform evaluation tests every day to gather the data, required to make the best decisions”, says Lamsar.
