Just In: Australia’s BBL Franchise Hobart Hurricanes has booked England opening batter Zak Crawley, as a replacement for Pakistan’s all-around Shadab Khan, for the second phase of the upcoming Big Bash League Season.
It is pertinent to mention that Zak Crawley has also been named for England’s Test Squad against Pakistan. The test series between Pakistan and England will kick start from Dec. 1 to Dec. 21 in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Karachi.
Sadly, Shahdab Khan will not play in the historic Test Series against England because he will participate in the first leg of BBL but will join the national squad for the ODI series against New Zealand in January 2023.
The English batsman was grateful to be picked up by the Hurricanes and said, “From a distance, the Hurricanes look has tons of talent, both in terms of the list they have assembled for on-field success and the caliber list of support items they have on it. I’m eager to participate in what I think will be a very prosperous summer.”
Pakistani fans could be very happy to find their best cricketers playing for Hobart Hurricanes in the upcoming season of the Big Bash League. Apart from Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf and Asif Ali are other prominent cricketers in the Hurricanes squad.
