Just In: Jermaine Franklin says, “Whyte knows I won that fight,” despite falling short last Saturday in London, 21-1, 14 KOs. He wants a rematch now, believing that the judges tainted the outcome of the previous battle, as they were all from Europe.

Making the outcomes of the crucial fight controversial, the judges declared the British Fighter Whyte by a 12-round majority decision, ultimately spoiling Franklin’s chances to fight against Anthony Joshua for a lifetime Mega-payout in 2023.

It is pertinent to mention that While Whyte currently has a net worth of $7 million, his rematch with Joshua ensures that his fortune will soar next year, potentially tripling his current wealth value, rarely depending on the match outcomes, though.

The 29-year-old Franklin is undoubtedly going through a tough time because his anticipated bout with Joshua will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. He, therefore, requests a rematch with Whyte, who has not yet responded.

“I know I won the Fight. I feel honest that I won the fight 8 to 4, 7 to 5. It could go either way, I feel like I won. I probably sat back a little too much, waiting for him to be more aggressive than he was. Nevertheless, I’ll take any fight as long as it makes sense,” said Franklin after his fight against Whyte last Saturday Night.
