Naseem Shah ruled out of the 3rd Test against England, amid Injury


Just In: Pakistan’s spearhead fast bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out from the 3rd and last Test against England in Karachi due to a shoulder injury. Notably, the touring side has already bagged the three-match series by 2-0.

Pakistani pacers are experiencing a lean patch regarding their fitness as back-to-back injuries of streamline bowlers have weakened Pakistan’s once fierce bowling attack. After missing the Multan Test, Naseem Shah will remain on the sidelines during the Final Test against England.

According to team sources, the young fast bowler will move to Lahore for an in-depth examination of his injury. After evaluating the extent of the injury, Naseem Shah will start his rehabilitation at the National High-Performance Centre, while Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf are also there.

However, the team management hasn’t named any replacement for Naseem Shah for the upcoming test series, which the touring team already leading by 2-0. The last test between Pakistan and England will commence on 17 December at National Stadium, Karachi.

It is important to note that Wahab Raiz suffered a serious injury on the first day of the opening test against England in Rawalpindi, while Shaheen Shah hasn’t played in a test match against England since withdrawing from the ICC T20 World Cup due to a knee ailment.
