Pakistan misses out on WTC 2021-23 Final Race after losing to England by 3-0

Just In: After being handed over a humiliating defeat by England in Test Series, Men in Green are officially out of the Final Race of the 2021-23 World Test Championship, while the winning side retained 5th position, having their hopes still alive.

Soon after Baber-led Pakistan was clean-sweep by England in three-match test series, the ICC shared an updated 2021-23 WTC Ranking List that utterly reflects what Green Caps deserve after displaying such a shameful performance on home soil.

According to the latest ICC WTC Rankings list, the touring side England retained the 5th position with 124 points, while Pakistan slipped to 7th position with just 56 points, and their hopes to reach the Finals of the 2021-23 WTC cycle are almost at an end.

The Pakistan cricket team is getting ready for their upcoming Test Series match against New Zealand; however, the results of the series won’t affect the WTC Rankings. They could only end their seasonal cycle on a good note if they managed to register triumph over the Kiwis.

It is pertinent to mention that England Cricket Team won their 3rd and last Test by 8 wickets at Karachi on Tuesday Morning. It was the third consecutive test victory of the visiting side, and they would be highly pleased with their brilliant performance.
