Just In: It’s time to find the best hopper in Utah as the Top Dawg Basketball has announced to host the inaugural season of the one-on-one basketball tournament. The organizers also claim to make it one of the large-scale events that will travel across eight US cities.
According to details, the Top Dawg Basketball sponsored event will kick start on Feb 4 in Salt Lake State, comprising players from eight different cities, and sum up in the finals on April 8 in Draper. There will be four different age-categories.
The winners will earn the title of Utah’s best hooper and the first-ever Top Dawg. However, the winner of the Open Division will get a $5000 cash prize alongside a glittering trophy. Meanwhile, the winners of the under-16 age divisions will get trophies in addition to school gear and gift cards.
Participants can register through Top Dawg’s official website in one of four categories, while registration costs between $15 to $25. The participation categories include Youth Division (boys and girls ages 8-10,11-12, 13-14, and 15-16), Teen Division (boys and girls 13-15 years old), Open Division (ages 17 and older), and a 40 Plus Division open to men and women over 40 years old.
