Regarding the list of Most ODI Centuries at Home, the great Sachin reserves the top with twenty. Notably, Kohli is just one ton behind, with 19, and, of course, 3-match series against Sri Lanka would be his best bet to accomplish this task.

With a cumulative sum of eight centuries against Sri Lanka in the ODI Format, Kohli equals the record of Sachin Tendulkar, who as the same numbers against the Islanders. One more ton will make Kohli the only Indian cricketer to score the most hundreds against a single team in ODIs.

Currently, the record for scoring the most hundreds against a single opponent is 9, collectively shared by Kohli and Tendulkar against World’s best cricketing sides, West Indies and Australia, respectively. If the 33-year-old manages to hit two centuries against Sri Lanka, he will be the first Indian to score 10 centuries against the same Opponent.
