Just In: South Africa is ready to host the 2022 IWBF Africa U25 Women’s World Championship Qualifiers, commencing from Dec 5 and continuing till Dec 8 at Johannesburg. All the games will be live-streamed through IWBF Africa’s Facebook and YouTube Channels.
According to the tournament’s details, team South Africa will compete against Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo for the one slot for Africa at the 2023 IWBF U25 Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Championships.

All the games of Women’s World Championship Qualifiers will be held at the Vodacom Mandeville Indoor Sports Center in Johannesburg, while the live streams will be available through the event’s official Facebook and YouTube pages.
For your information, IWBF U25 Women’s Wheelchair Basketball World Championship is an international tournament contested between the top women’s under-25 national teams from different Zones, including America, Africa, Europe, and Asia Oceania.
All four zone teams compete in the qualifying rounds to determine which teams compete in the main event. It is pertinent to mention that the event began in 2011 in St. Catharines, Ontario, and is now conducted every four years.
