Following a historic victory over World’s number 3 Argentina by 2-1, Saudi Arabia is looking to fancy their chances to make for the Knock-outs as they are buckling up to face relatively low-seeded side Poland in Group C on Saturday.
Perusing the goal of a desperate win, Michniewicz Boss rarely diverges from his preferred squad and formation. With an ideal 3-4-1-2 line-up configuration, Kamil Glik, Jakub Kiwior, Jan Bednarek, and Bartosz Bereszynski are must-have Jacks for Poland.
Nicola Zalewski and Matty Cash would be the front-line players for the Poland probable squad. In the meantime, Sebastian Szymanski will play in midfield alongside Grzegorz Krychowiak and Piotr Zielinski, and Lilik and Paitek will be chosen off the bench if a substitute is required.
As far as Saudi Arabia is concerned, it will resist any temptation of squad changes, except for the full-back Yasser Al-Shahrani, who suffered a nose injury against Argentina and was flown back home after successful surgery. Perhaps, Mohammed Al-Burayk is the possible replacement for him.
Poland possible starting lineup:
Szczesny; Zalewski, Kiwior, Glik, Bednarek, Cash; Szymanski, Krychowiak, Zielinski; Lewandowski, Milik.
Saudi Arabia possible starting lineup:
Al-Owais; Al-Burayk, Al-Boleahi, Al Tambakti, Abdulhamid; Al Malki, Kanno, Al-Abed; Al Dawsari, Al-Shehiri, Al Buraikan.
