Football Victoria 2023: Player Registration and Team Entry Fees

Being an integral part of the administration of around 40,000 fixtures annually, Football Victories bears outside expenses that have risen quickly, especially in the past two years.

In addition to the overall costs increase in 2022, insurance costs have jumped almost 30% during the last two years. Notably, insurance costs are a mandatory part of your registration fee, and FV administration transfers these funds to the relevant insurance providers.

Football Victoria decided to support players, teams, and families by incurring the maximum portion of these cost rises over the past two years via a price freeze in 2021 and an average fee increase of 3% in 2022.

However, in this challenging scenario, FV will increase the volume of the Consumer Price Index to player registration and team entry fees for the 2023 season. According to the current CPI rate of 7.3%, there will be an increase in FV player registration fees ranging $2 to $15.

Pertinently, the FV player registration and the team entry fee includes insurance and coverage for all administrative aspects of football, such as competition rules and policies, referee scheduling, education and accreditation, player dispensation requests, council liaison, and club support service.
